Erik Ward's interest in music entertainment goes back to the age of four. He
attended kindergarten and first grade with Kenny Rogers son, Kenny Rogers Jr.. He
became good friends with Kenny and got an inside glimpse of the entertainment
industry.

In 1977 he attended his first concert - Led Zeppelin at Oakland Stadium and
brought his camera. From then on, he was intrigued with concert photography. By
1979 he was renting camera equipment and photographing concerts.

He is a professional photographer. His work is licensed and syndicated through
Retna / Corbis and he's contributed to various media outlets. His recent
assignments have consisted of: Ringo Starr, Aerosmith, Lenny Kravitz, Kid Rock &
Mariah Carey.

Erik uses Nikon equipment exclusively.
